Our Meat, Farmers and Suppliers

Tuckers Butchers sources meat as livestock from farms in Gower and the surrounding area, selecting only high-quality animals and we carry out all our butchery from carcass form. Carcasses are hung to produce tender meat that is full of flavour, as it should be.

As the whole carcass is used we promote nose-to-tail eating, utilising as much of the animal as possible to yield full potential.

We are fortunate to have a number of local farms that supply us with consistently high-quality, high welfare animals all year around.

All of our meat suppliers are passionate about their animals – most of them are now third or fourth generation farmers – and we are proud to be able to trace our meat back to the farm and sometimes the actual field!

Our Suppliers Come From Throughout The Gower

We use farms in Llangennith, Llandewi, Pontarddulais, Gowerton, Llanmorlais, Penmaen, Penclawdd, Cefn Bryn, Pembrokeshire and Landimore.
